چکیده

Abstract Purpose The purpose of this study was to compare the long-term effects a static versus proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) stretching protocols by means spinometry and baropodometry. We hypothesized that PNF may be more effective than in supporting dynamic balance. Methods Thirty-six sport science students were divided into three groups: first group attended warm-up protocol on treadmill only (warm-up group) while other two carried out same followed (static or Contract Relax Antagonist (CRAC group). Stretching programs performed times per week lower limb muscles postural stability each participant evaluated at entry (pre) after 8 weeks training (post). Results ellipse area warm-up-only did not change; protocol, it significantly increased (from 111.3 ± 35.8 135.0 32.3, p < 0.05), CRAC decreased 119.1 23.0 88.2 19.8, 0.01). had significant reduction average forces (− 3.9% from pre post, 0.05) load response 0.6% 0.05). Pelvic inclination reduced 2.22 1.33 mm ( 0.01) pelvic torsion 0.94 0.22° protocol. Conclusions Eight-week an excellent for balance improvement stretching.

Day-time effect on postural stability in young sportsmen.

BACKGROUND stabilometry is commonly used from clinicians and posturologists for stability and postural assessment of patients.
